Common MAZDA Parts to Upgrade or Replace

Mazda parts

The more you drive your Mazda vehicle, the quicker components will wear down. These are the Mazda parts that will probably need to be replaced at some point:

Windshield Wipers

Your wipers do more work than you may even realize. When they’re not being used to clear rain from your windshield, you probably need them to clear off dirt and dust. Over time, the rubber and plastic get worn, in which case you’ll need a new set.

Oil Filter

If you’ve ever seen your oil filter after an oil change, there’s a good chance it looked pretty dirty. That’s its job; to collect dirt before it can get into the engine.

While this filter can be cleaned, it will get too dirty after a while and need a replacement. This happens roughly every 10,000 miles.

Tires

Unless you regularly drive on unkempt roads, you shouldn’t have to replace your tires too often. A new set will generally last about 50,000 miles. However, it’s vital that you have your tires rotated periodically. If you don’t, they will wear out a lot sooner.

Brake Pads

Your brake pads play a major role in helping you slow down and stop, and gradually they get thinner. If you’re hearing a squeaking sound when you step on the brake pedal, this is a warning telling you that they are wearing out. Generally, this starts happening at around 20,000 miles.

Seats

While your seats won’t wear out, you may still want to consider making some upgrades to them. This could include swapping out cloth upholstery for leather or perhaps adding power adjustments or heating and cooling elements.
