Mazda inspection

It’s understandable for people looking to buy a car to be wary of used vehicles. There can be a lot of uncertainly with older models that may have a lot of mileage.

Fortunately, with Certified Pre-Owned Mazda cars, shoppers can have great peace of mind. For one thing, they have to pass the Mazda 160-point inspection.

What’s Included in the Inspection?

All of the major components of the vehicle get looked at, including the:

  • Braking system
  • Transmission
  • Engine
  • AC and heating system
  • Windshield
  • Seats

Are MAZDA Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles Given a Road Test?

Once the visual inspection is complete, a Mazda Certified Pre-Owned vehicle will then be taken out on the road by a certified technician. Things like acceleration, shifting, and braking will be evaluated.

What Happens if Something isn’t Working Properly?

If it is determined that something needs to be fixed, it will get an expert repair. And if a replacement is needed, only genuine Mazda parts are used.

Do MAZDA Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles Come with Any Other Safeguards?

You’ll be happy to know that all Mazda Certified Pre-Owned vehicles come with the remainder of the original three-year/36,000-mile warranty. Once that expires, a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty goes into effect.

These cars will also be covered by a Limited Powertrain warranty that is good for up to seven years or 100,000 miles. For the duration of that seven-year warranty, you will also have access to 24-hour emergency roadside assistance. This includes getting help for a flat tire, lockout, or dead battery.
