2024 MAZDA CX-50 vs. the Toyota RAV4

We recommend visiting Superior Mazda to test drive the 2024 Mazda CX-50. However, this model is by no means the only crossover SUV; another option is the Toyota RAV4. These two automobiles belong in the same vehicle segment. How do they compare when examined side-by-side?
Performance Highlights
The Mazda CX-50 has a 2.5-Liter SKYACTIV®-G Inline-Four engine that delivers 187 hp. Buyers can opt for a turbocharged variant with 256 horsepower. By comparison, the Toyota RAV4 has a 2.5-Liter Four-Cylinder engine that delivers 203 horsepower.
The Toyota RAV4 does provide slightly more hp than the Mazda CX-50 with the base engine. However, front-wheel-drive comes standard, with all-wheel-drive available for the Toyota RAV4. On the other hand, the Mazda CX-50 has the brand’s i-ACTIV® AWD as standard, providing more traction and gripping ability over the standard front-wheel-drive for the Toyota RAV4.
Infotainment Features
Both models have multiple infotainment features. For starters, HD radio, smart device integration, and Wi-Fi hotspot come standard for both vehicles.
However, the Mazda CX-50 comes with a few extras. For example, an MP3 player comes standard for the Mazda CX-50, but it’s available at an extra cost for the Toyota RAV4.
Safety Features
A number of safety features come standard for the Mazda CX-50. For instance, the Lane Departure Warning System comes standard, as is for the Toyota RAV4. Rear Cross Traffic Alert is also standard for the Mazda CX-50, but is available for the Toyota RAV4
