Mazda Profits Up in October

Mazda North American Operations reported sales of 18,013 vehicles during October 2010. This is an increase of 19.5% over the same month last year. Year-to-date sales through October 2010 stand at 192,783, and are outpacing last year's sales at this time by 10.0%.

Mazda To Produce Four Wheel Drive Minivan

Is an all new 4-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle coming out of Mazda's production line? The Japanese auto maker is already selling such a vehicle in Japan.

Overseas, it is known as they Mazda Premacy. In the United States, such a car is known as MAZDA5.

The 4WD Premacy is available in two model grades and sales have already started selling at all Mazda dealerships throughout Japan.

Mazda Strives for Higher MPG, Better Design in 2011

Mazda Motor Corp. expects better fuel economy and a more functional interior to boost sales of the redesigned MAZDA5 minivan. The MAZDA5 goes on sale in the United States next January. The automaker aims to sell 20,000 to 30,000 a year in the United States, Thomas Pixton, senior managing executive officer, said at the vehicle's Japanese launch on July 1.
