MAZDA6 in Danger of Being Discontinued in the U.S.

The MAZDA6, available now at Superior Mazda in Bentonville, AR has always been a well-selling model. But due to recent additions to the line-up, and less then stellar sales of the 6 in recent months, the car is in danger of being discontinued in the United States.

Usually, when a car gets over 40 miles to the gallon you expect it to be a small hybrid. Not the MAZDA6.

Mazda and the all new MAZDA6 is a mid-size sedan from the auto maker, it runs on a regular internal combustion gas engine and still can get 43 miles to the gallon.

Mazda hopes to have this 43 miles to the gallon rating on the MAZDA6 with the use of old technology. They want to bring the diesel engine back into fashion because with ever changing gas prices, deisel keeps its value steadier than gas.
